Deborah Parizek
Executive Director
Deborah Parizek drives HFLI’s efforts to provide workshops, programs and site coaching that pair effective education and human-centered design approaches, empowering learners to lead transformational change in, with and for their community. She is known for cultivating the conversations, empathy, and capacity critical to addressing complex challenges. Prior to joining HFLI in 2005, Deborah designed and directed extensive teacher leadership development programs for multiple school systems.
Iffa Kazi Davis
Director of Program Operations and Strategy
In her role at HFLI, Iffa uses Design Thinking to develop capacity of individuals and coach organizations to develop and advance strategy, ideas, and innovative programming. Iffa designs and facilitates HFLI’s fellowships and workshops, specializing in human-centered and user experience design, systems thinking, test and learns, and implementation planning. Her instructional practice incorporates Deeper Learning by Doing® principles, which emphasizes the learner at the center of each design experience, leverages strong instructional practices, and nurtures a culture of belonging in every engagement.
